The Cíes archipelago, located at the mouth of the Vigo estuary, is
composed of the 3 islands of Monteagudo, Faro and San Martiño. It stands
out for its geomorphological and biological importance the complex
formed by the barrier of Rodas beach, which acts as a natural bridge
between the islands Monteagudo and Faro, and O Lago, which serves as a
refuge for breeding fish and other aquatic animals.
The importance and singularity of this location motivated the installation of the first Atlantilus spot in its complete version.
